About
In 2018, the CBSO performed in Birmingham New Street station with BBC Singers and the CBSO Chorus as part of BBC Music Day. We're delighted so many people stopped by to enjoy the orchestra performing live. Returning for the third Platform Symphony at Birmingham New Street Station, the largest set up to date with 80 strong orchestra and 100 strong CBSO chorus.
The programme included favourites. This year, additional coordination was needed for BBC Music Day coverage including Radio 3. Training was developed for a team of 25 hands-on volunteers to assist with the get in, performance and get-out.
OPUS provided Risk Assessment, Planning, Scheduling, Volunteer briefing and Management, Stakeholder Engagement with Network Rail and coordination of media opportunities with BBC.
This year, we are delighted to return to New Street Station on Friday 15th October with two very special free performances.

Professional is the word that describes OPUS. On the projects for which I have been commissioned like The CBSO, the planning stage has been clear and precise concerning their photographic needs. Any unforeseen problems during the shoots have been dealt with quickly and obstacles removed. I have been given creative freedom and been made to feel valued. They are a delight to work with.
