OPUS collaborated with M.I.H. major events and JPC safety to successfully deliver Aston Villa Football Club’s UEFA Europa League Victory Parade
Following Aston Villa Football Clubs success in the UEFA Europa League 2026 Championships, tens of thousands of supporters were welcomed into the City Centre for a victory parade.
The event saw supporters line a 4.3km route through Birmingham city centre before culminating in a trophy lift celebration in Centenary Square.
OPUS could not be more proud to have lead production operations and manage the celebrations at Centenary Square during the programme, delivering production operations along the parade route, integrating VIP activities and leading the management of Centenary Square and Birmingham Library operations.
Working alongside MIH, JPC Safety, Birmingham City Council and all our partners to deliver this event truly showcased the city's capability to deliver major events under significant time pressures.
These teams came together at pace to deliver a safe, memorable and high-quality celebration for Aston Villa supporters and the wider city.
