About
We were commissioned by Coventry City of Culture Trust to programme, plan and deliver three separate events, taking place in hyper-local locations in the heart of communities - Tile Hill, Holbrooks and Binley.

Following in depth community engagement workshops and liaison with local stakeholders (including community centres, libraries, councillors and residents), we shaped three bespoke programmes. All events were outdoors and free to attend, with the site design and decor tailored to enhance the audience experience at each site.

We worked to curate a food and beverage offer too, where appropriate, but in one of the residential areas with a higher level of deprivation, we instead decided to make a donation to support the local food bank who supplied free packed lunches on the day for anybody who would like one - no questions asked.

Working with OPUS was a welcome situation to find ourselves in for one of our first live engagements in 2021. They gave us space to be creative and responded in detail to our requirements, giving us notice for anything they required from us. Communications were clear, timely and efficient in advance, during and after the event, even whilst we were aware that OPUS were busy with the rest of Party on the Green events. The site at Tile Hill was safe and well managed. The schedules, plans, roles and responsibilities were clear. Other subcontractors brought in by OPUS were excellent in advance and during the event. The site posed potential challenges but OPUS had mitigated for anything they'd foreseen. We couldn't have asked for anything more from a client and we hope to find ways to work together again soon. Good luck Caroline and thanks to you and Rebecca for a thoroughly enjoyable event.
OPUS were an excellent support to realising a new creative vision, they provided a fabulous platform to premiere the show with incredible visuals and productions values. Most importantly, they got the audience there and they were incredible - it was an inclusive event and there was such a diverse range of people! They were up for a huge amount of participation, it was a memorable and wonderful event to be part of.

Calm, controlled and accommodating throughout the event and with artists. OPUS made everything feel easy and would definitely relish to opportunity to work with them again. They are both incredibly human in approach, and professional in outcome.
