What can I expect at Sky Garden?

Cloudscapes: An Immersive Sky Story Experience

As you relax together, pop on your headphones and drift into Cloudscapes; a beautifully crafted audio journey by artist Lorna Rees, of Gobbledegook Theatre. Get ready for adventure blending storytelling, sky science and dreamy thoughts, designed to spark curious minds while you gaze into the open sky and our ever-changing visual stage.

You are not just watching the clouds. You are travelling through them.

Cloud Gazing

Mini explorers, we’re taking our imaginations to the skies and becoming amazing cloud spotters! Bring a picnic blanket or sink into our giant bean bags and gaze into the skies. What can you see drifting across the sky?

A giant bunny?! A floating forest?! A ship sailing into the big blue?!

As the clouds shift and stretch, families explore:

  • The science of how clouds form

  • How weather shapes our world

  • The colours and moods of the sky

  • A powerful connection to nature and the world around us

  • No two skies are ever the same. Every family leaves with a different story
