OPUS (Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces) was commissioned by Bewonder, acting on behalf of the Mailbox, to deliver a lunchtime concert. In collaboration with Sampad Asian Arts and Heritage, OPUS presented a compelling musical duo: award-winning British pianist and composer Rakesh Chauhan, alongside Indian-fusion violinist Rohan Roy.
Rooted in OPUS’ ethos of activating outdoor and unconventional spaces, the performance brings people together through culture, creativity and shared experience. Delivered in partnership with Bewonder—specialists in connecting people and place—the concert contributes to the Mailbox’s vibrant 24/7 environment, reinforcing its position as Birmingham’s premium mixed-use destination at the heart of the city.
