With a 5-week turnaround, OPUS Director Caroline Davis was asked to plan and safely deliver a homecoming celebration for Team England athletes on behalf of Birmingham City Council and the Department for Culture Media and Sport.

The event included public stage and private civic reception; sponsor activations, media centres for international coverage, volunteer engagement and sporting activations. 

With production partner JA Productions, the live site was managed with over 10,000 people in attendance, without incident, including inclement weather. Accessible, signed performances and planning for para-athletes requirements were all taken care of. Management of security, crew in high profile location where professionalism is required at all times.
