Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Countdown Clock Media Launch took place in March 2020. OPUS designed the set, managed the artistic performances and and local schools engagement programme around the reveal of the clock, sponsored by Longines. The event was conceived to maximise national broadcast media (BBC, Sky News, ITV) and client and sponsor were extremely satisfied with the activation, its management, coverage and their brand association bringing together culture & community.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with OPUS working as the host of the Commonwealth Games 2022 Countdown Clock Launch. It was a very successful relationship from the moment they got in touch, throughout the creative process of script writing and on the day of the Countdown Clock being launched. I always knew what was being planned, if and when there were any alterations and exactly what was needed from me in my role as the host of the event. The day itself went like clockwork! It was great fun working with such a creative and professional team to deliver a successful event in the heart of Birmingham.
